2. At a divinely determined time

3. The Hope of Glorification:

1. Was real in the Old Testament
2. Was real in the New Testament

4. The Promotion of Glorification:

1. It promotes a greater concern for living a holy life
2. It promotes a greater concern for the nature and character of God
3. It promotes a greater concern for the glory of God
4. It promotes a greater patience for the sufferings in this present world
5. It promotes a greater and more consistent trust in God’s faithfulness
6. It promotes a greater comfort for God’s present work in us
